18 months Old!!

I can NOT believe Ryder is a year and a half! Before I know it he is going to be 2 and the terrible twos are going to be in full swing! This is what you have been up to this month!

*You are saying small sentences like,  "I want a cracker, I want juice, I need this, I want a bath, I go Night Night, and Get down, Bye Gracie, Bye Daddy and a few others
*I just bumped you up today to size 4 diapers, there a little big but they fit you a LOT better!

* We just started to pull the shorts out and you fit into ALL of your last years shorts! HA! most of them are 9-12 months and they fit you perfect! Too bad mommy hit all of the sales last year and I have a drawer full of 24 month clothes! I guess those are just going to have to wait! You wear 18 month shirts

* You wear a size 5 shoe
*You weigh 24lb's (40th percentile)
*Your are 33 inch. long (54th percentile)
*Your head circumfrence is 83rd percentile :)
* You tell mommy when you go "poop" and you tell me over and over until you are done! :) oh so nice!
* You LOVE to help mommy in the kitchen and play with your little kitchen I just bought you and act like your cooking right there with me!
*You are crazy into everything, most of the time mommy takes a shower, I come out and you are on top of the kitchen table, have pulled out the trash, or are into something you know you shouldn't be. I had to recently put our little flat screen in your room so I can put you in your crib with Dora on while I am in the shower. That way I can actually  enjoy my 5 minutes alone :)
*You say cheese everytime you see the camera and its hilarious
*You sing Ring a Round the Rosies all the time.. you LOVE the ashes, ashes part!
*You are starting to look at family photos and say everyones names which is really cute
*You are enjoying Mommy being home and LOVING all of the fun things we get to do together! I am LOVING this time too!

Charleston!!

Amanda (my sister-in-law) and I decided to go to Charleston today! She had the day off and I thought it would be fun to load the kids up and go to the aquarium and then to the beach. The only time Ryder has ever seen the beach was when he was 2 weeks old at my sisters wedding. He LOVED it! I thought he might be scared of the water but the water was freezing and he kept getting deeper and deeper! He finally got past his knees and I was like ok sweetie lets not go any further!! He absolutely loved the beach and loved playing in the sand and water! Here are some fun pictures from our day.. (yes there's alot!)

Visit to Tennessee

Ryder and I went up to visit with Jessi and watch the girls so she could finish her last few days at work! We had alot of fun! Mattalynn and I had a makeover while Ryder and Riley were napping! She said she looked BEAUTIFUL! She also found a boyfriend while I was with her at Sheri's and she told me she thought he was "VERY handsome" :) ... I guess I did a pretty good job with her this week :) Here are some pictures from our trip!

Yard work!!

Last weekend Eric and I got a babysitter ( aka my mom) and worked SUPER hard in our yard!! Here are some before and after pictures!

Fun day with Nana and Pa!

Nana and Pa came down and went with Ryder and I to the zoo and we had ALOT of fun!! We fed the giraffes, we rode the choo-choo train, we fed the birds and saw a tiny tiny baby baboon! It was alot of fun!

Playdates!

One nice thing about being a SAHM is having other moms to hang out with!! I'm sure Ryder agrees that he likes the other kids as well! Here are some pictures of Ryder and Caleb playing.. I didn't get any pictures of Leyla, although she's usually right in there with them!

By the way, I PUT THIS KITCHEN TOGETHER MYSELF!! This is a HUGE deal..After 3 hours of working on it, I only ended up with 5 screws leftover!! I think I did a FABULOUS job! :)

SERIOUSLY?!?!

BOY OH BOY... where do I begin?? This "Girls Weekend" trip was FAR from it...everyone brought their kids and it was just not the same as the last REAL girls weekend trip we had.. I think we've all decided next time were LEAVING the kids! HA! It was fun but boy was it eventful!

The actual trip to Gatlinburg went pretty smoothly my car full (My mom, My grandma, Tanner, Ryder, and I ) got to the cabin first.. let me just say we were LITERALLY up in the clouds! We were as high as the mountain could go and we were sitting off the edge of a cliff.. no guard rails no NOTHING! it was pretty nerve racking driving up to it.. well we were the first to arrive so we decided to head to Gatlinburg to eat dinner..  My mom lets us know she wasn't feeling so well as soon as we got our food she was like "I think we better hurry home" so we were hoping it was just car sickness and asked for boxes for our dinner and headed back to the cabin. What should have been about a 10 minute car ride turned into almost an HOUR! By the time we started up the mountain the clouds had settled we had a good 10 miles up to go! We LITTERALLY couldn't see 1 foot in front of us! My brother Tanner had to get out and walk in front of the car so we could see where to go! It was SO scary!

Well as soon as we made it through the door my mom started throwing up.. we quickly realised this "car sickness" was no car sickness and she had gotten the stomach bug!! She was quarantined to the top floor which luckily was open to the downstairs so she could "feel" like she was with everyone.. luckily she was feeling alot better the next day and even came with us to walk around for a little while.. but soon did we find out Ty (pams son) had 101 fever and was then quarantined upstairs as well!

We had a good time around gatlinburg and the boys loved the hot tub... although they DID decide to light fireworks downstairs and some "smoke bombs" which filled the ENTIRE 3 story house with the WORST smell and smoke EVER! so we all put on our coats and opened all the doors and windows to try and get the smoke and smell out of the house... boys will be boys I suppose...

Jessi got this toy out for Riley, and of COURSE Ryder LOVED it!! It was SOO funny!!

Ryder surprisingly did REALLY well with Riley!!

Becky got Ryder a big tube FULL of animals! He LOVED it!! he gave him a bath and they played with them!

Later that night we got a call around 7:30 saying that my DAD (no sympathy for illness' dad) was taking my grandpa to the hospital because he  had kidney stones! It was just a CRAZY weekend! but all in all we had alot of fun and it was still nice to be with everyone and catch up! here are some fun pictures of our EVENTFUL to say the last weekend!!
