Caleb's Wedding!!

Caleb and I have known each other since k-4 and we have been the best of friends over the years and we have been through so much together! He got married today and it was such a nice wedding and I was trying to hold back the tears, but it was just so sweet to see how much love he has for her in his eyes...Kateryna was a beautiful bride and Caleb was so happy...CONGRATULATIONS!! I love yall!!

Can you read his shirt? IF you can't... it says "My mom is hot" :)...My FAVORITE bribery always works if you are trying to get on my goodside aunt AUNT..gave this to Ryder and I thought we MUST wear this shirt out because I would HATE for a perfectly good shirt go to waste!! :)

Pa's Farewell Party

Pa has been the principal at Ben Lippen for the last 30 years and has decided to move on as the Alumni Director. The school had a HUGE farewell party for him and it was so nice to hear all of the funny stories and watch slideshows all of the years he served Ben Lippen...here are some pictures!!

9 MONTHS OLD!

I know I say this every month but WOW how the time has FLOWN BY!!! This is what you are up to this month...

*You are on the move BIG time! You crawl, speed crawl and are pulling up on EVERYTHING
*You have stood up without holding onto anything a few times but fall shortly after
*You are such a little porker and eat and eat and eat..you eat 3 baby jars of food at one time or a big bowl of oatmeal and 2 baby food jars
*You eat alot of table food like mashed potatoes, green beans, peas, fruit, rice krispies, ICE CREAM (thanks nana) jello, and whatever grams secretly gives you at her house
*You are 19 pounds and I foget how long, so I will update that soon
*You are in a size 3 diaper
*You wear mostly 6-9 clothes although are starting to wear 12 months!! :( YIKES
*You say MAMA!!! :) You have been saying it for about a month now, but I know you are calling for me now because when you say mamamama you are looking at me or crying for me so I can say its OFFICIAL!
*You absolutely adore your POPS and just giggle everytime he says "Ryder Man"
*You are still a mamma's boy but daddy is slowly gettin up there!
*You are starting to have QUITE a little temper and when mommy says no you make fists and grunt really loud which makes your litlte stork bite turn beat red!
*Mommy tried to smack your hand last week after you went for the powercord for the 3rd time in a row and you just looked up at her and smiled real big and stuck your hand back out for it....oh well it was worth a shot right?
*You are a water baby and I think you were suppose to be a fish, but came out a crazy wild little boy
*You get bored very easily now and your attention span is about as long as your moms... oops
*You are the cutest little boy in the world and mommy and daddy love you OH so much! :)

New Pool!!

So I saw in our Babies-R-Us ad that they had a little blue pool for 4.99....that got me thinking about how much Ryder enjoys bath time...

I think you can tell by his face he thoroughly enjoyed this BIG BATHTUB

Of COURSE he had to try and stand up, because that is what he is all about these days

I think we will be having alot more fun in this pool, and by the way he SCREAMED when I took him out :)

Mother's Day

I had the best mothers day this year...Ryder got dedicated at church in the morning and almost all of our family was able to make it and it meant so much to us! We were able to go to a class the Sunday before that was really great and explained to us what it meant to dedicate your child and that it was really for the parents more than the child. I hate getting up in front of people so the whole 30 seconds I was standing up in church was AWFUL but the meaning behind it was what really mattered and meant alot to Eric and I to be able to dedicate Ryder. We made a promise to raise him up in a Godly home and do everything that we can to instill God's word into him while he is our child.

After church we went to my grandparents house but our "Mothers Day" ended soon after..here we are slaving away......(what a great day huh?!)

JUST KIDDING!!!!

The guys did it all and it was really great just to be able to relax and have some "us" time :) Thanks GUYS!!

Ryders First Boo Boo

Ryder got his first boo boo last night, and it looks alot better today but he fell face first onto his favorite toy his little barn (thanks pa!). It was soo sad he held his breath for what seemed like 5 minutes and he had scraped the skin off of his little lip! :( So sad, but I know this is only the first of many to come!

Wild Child!

So I've started spiking Ryder's hair..Don't you think he is just to die for? I just could eat him up he's soo cute!

He is getting to be SOO much fun, but I think he is taking after me and BOY is he one WILD CHILD!!! He is just non stop action action action...I think he's taking after his momma in the personality department!

Bathtime!!

I have been giving Ryder baths in the sink lately because its just alot easier now that he is sitting up and the sink is the PERFECT size for him! He absolutely ♥ it and turns the water on and off during the entire bath!

Ryder is LOVING his toys...however it has gotten alot harder on which toys we have to be EXTRA careful with, on almost EVERYTHING he trys to pull up on and he is just too heavy for these toys! I wish they made some with sandbags or weights in them so I wouldn't constantly be grabbing it before it flips over on top of him!!
