Chick-Fil-A

I heard through the grape vine that the Chick-Fil-A near my house was inviting kids to come between 8am-10am to color pillowcases and I thought... hmm I could SOO do this! So we went this morning and the kids had a blast! We ate breakfast there, colored on our pillow cases, and then got to play on the playground! All in all it was a VERY fun morning!

I think that Ethan and Ryder got more on their skin then on their pillow cases ha!

I think Ryders' pillow case turned out good.. I'm not so sure its going on his bed or anything but I am DEFINETLY keeping it for memories :)

22 months old!

*You weigh 25 pounds (you have weighed this for a LONG time!)

*You are around 34-35 inches tall (we will find out for sure in 2 months!)

*You wear a size 4 diaper and will until you are potty trained because they are big on you

*You are STILL wearing size 12 shorts! some are getting a little short, so I have to roll size 18 month on you

*You wear size 18 month shirts, but some 24 months on occasion

*You are learning SOO much you can now count to 7 and can count backwards from 5!

*You LOVE to sing and dance and can sing the ABC song, Boom Boom song, Ho Ho Ho Hosanna, Deep and Wide, and SOOO many more!
*You are FABULOUS with a fork and spoon and always say" Mommy I need a wok"(fork)

*You are pretty much always talking in sentences, your favorite is usually "Mommy I need to eat" you are an EATING MACHINE! You have been eating NON stop for the last couple of weeks and I guess are just going through a growth spurt

*You are doing sooo good in your "big boy" room and bed and sleep almost every night all night and always take naps in your room

*When you pray with Mommy and Daddy you squeeze your eyes really tight and hold your hands together, its soo precious!
*You can jump with both feet off the ground
*You are starting to learn shape and colors and are doing a good job so far!
*You are VERY interested in the potty and tell me everyday atleast 3 or 4 times that you need to go and we go and sit on the potty, although you have YET to go! But eventually you will!
*You are OBSESSED with tractors, atleast once a day you say something about going to Naa's and Pa to ride his tractor, or Meme and Pa's to ride theirs (the 4 wheelers)...everytime we drive by a tractor you say WOW tractor

*You are walking with your right foot turned in alot and we are going to have to start doing exercises to work on fixing that, or as your Physical Therapist Aunt Pam says, you won't be able to run and do good in sports if we don't get it fixed so we will DEFINITELY have to work on that because if your anything like your daddy you will be!

*You have hit the terrible 2's in full force all day everyday is a constant battle with you and listening and going in and out of time out and in and out of spankings.... you have ALSO started putting your fingers in your ears when I tell you to do something like you can't hear me.. and WHERE did you learn that?!?!?! I am just at a loss for words..maybe starting the terrible 2's early will mean your going to end early.. I asked my mom tonight how long it took me to get out of them and she said sometime after middle school.. HA very funny mommy lets hope Ryder gets out of it a LITTLE sooner

I am in the midst of planning, gathering, and preparing for Ryders Birthday party and its going to be FABULOUS! I just can't wait!!

The Library and the 5 second rule??

SO yesterday it was SOOO hot outside that I knew I needed to figure out something for me to do with the kids that was inside in the air conditioning... so we all got into the car without a plan and then I thought... hmm I think I will take these 3 kids ages 1, 2 (almost) and 3 to a library.. call me crazy but it was actually fun and the kids were great! They colored pictures, read books, and played with some puppets.. we are CERTAINLY going to go back!

So I really REALLY hope that the 5 second rule exists because RYder is into this new thing, where he is eating food off the floor out in public.. I TRY to catch him but that little sneaky boy is just too fast.. he has eatin a watermelon rine off the ground at the lake, french fries off the floor in zaxbys and try to eat a sucker that was on the pavement! GROSS!! I am hoping to catch him quicker AND get this phase gone FAST!

naps and ice cream

 This afternoon, I put all the kids down for their naps and Addison said, "AA (thats what she calls me) will you lay with me?" Of course I said yes and next thing I knew I woke up 2 hours later! ha! Thankfully all the kids were still sleeping but I couldn't believe I fell asleep! ha! After we all got up we headed to chic-fil-a to play and get some YUMMY ice cream! They even gave all the kids cute cow hats which they LOVED!

 I started keeping Addison and Ethan this week for Amanda while she's in class to get her masters for the next 3 weeks.. So far its been a breeze! The kids play so well together as long as I keep them fed, juiced and changed they are HAPPY CAMPERS!! :) Here are some pictures.....

This morning I was cooking lunch and Ryder grabbed Erics work keys and his lunch box (which is about the size of him) off the kitchen table and yelled BYE MOMMA! I said, "Where are you going?" (as he is heading towards the door) and he turned around without missing a beat and said, "Work!"

Water Fun!

I let Ryder play with some toys and measuring cups in a little tub today while I was folding laundry.. when I came back into the room he had his diaper off and was IN the tub!! only this little boy! When I pulled him out he was FREEZING! I knew that water must have been cold!!

I was so scatter brained today and all I was doing all day was laundry, that I did a load of wash without any clothes in it! I guess I am really starting to lose it! Ha!

Hot Dog Heaven

 Saturday we met Paul and Amanda for lunch at Hot Dog Heaven and they were having a big cookout and had a professional photographer there. She took a TON of pictures of us and our kids they turned out cute!

So its been a while...

I know I have slacked off in blogging for a while and I don't feel like being up all night posting a GAZILLION new posts so here are some random pictures of the last couple of weeks...

This is my FATHER wearing TENNIS SHOES with his suit to a wedding!! I dont know HOW my mother didn't notice this until we got to the wedding, I told her if anyone asks just say he's from New York.. They all wear tennis shoes with their suits there! ha!

Ryder LOVES when I go to food lion because they have these little buggy's.. I use to be abe to hold onto that stick that is attached to them and steer but now he has a FIT when I even TRY to help him. He just starts yelling NO MOMMA NO MOMMA and jerks the buggy away from me.. He's surprisingly getting to be a pretty good driver!

Ryder hasn't been too sure of BIG pools lately.. I have NO idea why he absolutely LOVES the bathtub and LOVES the pool we got that was about 2 feet deep for the backyard... But thankfully he is warming up to it.. But he likes to walk around the pool and lean over to scoop the water out.. It makes me a nervous WRECK!

I think NANA might have to buy her 3rd set of drums pretty soon, Ryder says dums? dums? As soon as I say were going to Tanners house.. hmmm Nana that might be a Christmas present?!?
