So MUCH fun!

Ryder is getting to be SO much fun he is just walking everywhere trying to RUN everywhere and is just soo happy all the time! We have been having alot of fun just playing with him lately. This weekend Nana and Pa came down and Ryder could NOT get enough of his Nana, although I think she is pretty fond of him too! Tonight I was trying to update my blog and get Ryder in the bath tub and there is NOTHING cuter than a naked little baby walkin around the house! I couldn't get too many pictures because my camera died! :( Here are some pictures of our weekend!

Ryder's First Birthday Party!!

Thank you to EVERYONE who travelled to come to Ryder's Birthday party and all the family and friends that came!! Ryder has the best first birthday party ever... he dug right into his birthday cake and after a few minutes rubbed his eyes and rubbed cake ALL over him! It was hilarious! :) Here are some pictures of his party!!

Ryder woke up EXTRA early Sunday morning... I think he was just dying to play with all of his new toys! :)

Ryder is EXTREMLY advanced! :)

Ryder turns 1 and next thing I know he is SO advanced.. JUST KIDDING...but he was trying to do somersaults tonight.. I don't know what came over my crazy child but he just keeps us laughing!! He did this for a good 15 minutes but we couldn't catch it on video... Here is a short video of him trying to do a flip... (this was totally random we were NOT doing flips in the living room we were just playing with a puzzle)

Part 2 of Ryder's BirthDAY!

After Eric and I picked Ryder up from his babysitter's we decided to take him to Chuck-E-Cheeses for the first time EVER... when we got there we ordered our food and decided to go straight to sit down in front of the stage so he could watch all of the characters dance and sing BAD IDEA! He started crying but within minutes warmed up to them but from a further distance away :). We played ALOT of riding games so that he could spin the steering wheels and even got in a photo booth that sketched us! We had alot of fun and I hope Ryder's birthday was one to remember!!

Part 1 of Ryder's BirthDAY

Eric and I went into his bedroom an hour earlier this morning to sing to him and get him ready because we knew breakfast would be a mess and a bath would be needed.....I think Ryder was in shock because this is what he did to us the entire SONG! HA! he just looked at us like we were crazy!

I was definetly right about his chocolate dough-nut being a mess!! But he is the cutest mess EVER!

This is his birthday outfit for today that his NANA got him.. Thanks NANA he looks SUPER CUTE!

Eric and I got Ryder some books and puzzles and he LOVED them!

Dear Ryder,

Dear Ryder:

One year ago today, your Daddy and I were at Palmetto Richland Hospital awaiting your arrival... I wasn't that nervous to be honest, I think partly because I  have been in the hospital so many times throughout my life that being there wasn't the scary part...It didn't really hit me until she told me I needed to start pushing.Then it REALLY hit me when I held you, my beautiful HEALTHY 7 pound baby boy, in my arms for the first time and realized that there was no going back. This little screaming bundle of joy was mine forever and this little boy was what we had prayed and prayed for. This past year has been the most amazing and challenging year of my life, I only had you for 6 short weeks before I had to go back to work which was heart breaking for me financially we just weren't ready YET (keyword :) ) for me to be a stay at home mom, and then only a few short weeks after that Mommy got really sick. We made it through that and God willing will never have to go through that again, your daddy was my right-hand and very encouraging to me through that time and VERY helpful with you while I was having surgery and after. WE made it through that and pushed on through the "teething", through the "temper-tantrums", through the "sleepless nights", through the throwing up EVERYWHERE, to cuddiling in bed, to kisses at night, to hugs in the morning to EVERYTHING wonderful in my life. I would NOT change one thing, not one of those sleepless nights, or meltdowns, or screaming fits. Ryder you are the best thing that has ever happend to Daddy and I and I can't imagine life without you.... One year ago today a handsome little boy, named RYDER COLE HARRIS, stole my heart when I  PROUDLY whispered in your ear on August 17th 2009 at 3:19 pm,

 "Hi Ryder, I'm your Mommy"

I had waited a long time to say those words to you sweet baby boy, and I can't wait for the many many more whipsers we share with each other. I LOVE being your Mommy you make me so proud!

Ryder's 1 year Pictures!

Tonight we went and got Ryder's 1 year pictures done, he lasted alot longer than I thought but now that he is walking and definetly crawling pictures were alot harder than last time, I couldn't just sit him down because he was into EVERYTHING.. I think they turned out REALLY cute...

Jessi's Shower part 1!

Me, my mom, and grandma threw a baby shower for my sister while she was down here and we had a GREAT turn out and it was ALOT of fun.. It was pretty interesting though because most of the guests had little babies! Here are some fun pictures!!

In the middle of everyone arriving, one of Jessi's old co-workers got stuck in the ditch and I must say, it would have been REALLY nice if guys would have been at this party... we ended up calling AAA because there was no way any of us girls could get this jeep out... of course they got it out in 2 seconds.. oh well!

I must say shopping for a girl was alot more fun than a boy!...she got TONS of gifts mostly clothes, but come on, who can resist buying cute little girl clothes??
