New CAMERA!!! & the Zoo

Eric gave me and early Christmas present, because he figured I would want it for Chrismtas festivities and BOY was he right!!! SO introducing my NEW CAMERA!! I am BEYOND thrilled my little digital one just wasn't cutting it, pictures were coming up blurry, and it took forever to go from one picture to taking the next and this couldn't have come at a better time!!! Ryder and my mom came with me to the zoo today to test out my new camera and it was a DREAM! Here are some of my FABULOUS pictures!!

FUN FUN FUN

Ryder and I had a very fun day today.. I still have 2 loads of laundry to do, dishes to put away, cleaning to do but we sure did have fun today! I only have an hour and 15 minutes to get it all done before Eric comes home and I promised him I would be the "PERFECT HOUSEWIFE" if he agreed to let me stay home.. and since it's only technically my 5th day on the job.. I better hurry and do it! HA!...

We went to chic-fil-a AGAIN today for lunch and then to this DARLING boutique that opened up right around the corner and lets just say I might be in trouble.. They have the CUTEST kids clothes and it wasn't outrageously priced either.. and I MIGHT have purchased this outfit for Christmas for Ryder... :) Isn't it the most precious thing in the world?!? I said a Jon-Jon with polka-dots?? How could I pass it up.. they even packaged it in a ZEBRA print bag.. I asked her if they have any job openings because I am going to need the extra money to buy the ENTIRE store! HA!

Then Ryder and I went home played for a while and then I got a text message from sonic saying tonight for 2 hours they had 99cent happy meals.. SO we headed over to Sonic and got us dinner and had fun sitting in the backseat together watching Handy Manny Thanks to Paul and Amanda who got us TV'S for Ryder for Christmas!! I couldn't thank them enough it has been a LIFE saver and has ended his screaming fits in the car!

THEN we headed to Saluda Shoals for the lights.. you drive in your car and I had Ryder on my lap for half way through, but he kept flipping the bright lights on and blinding the cars, and pushing the wipers, so half way through I put him back in his carseat.. He LOVED them and kept saying WOW! WOW! WOW! he is soo precious!

I have had the BEST time with him since I have been off work and it has been FAB-U-LOUS!

And.. its only 11...

Good thing I was planning on mopping the floors today!

Sick Baby

 Ryder was up alot the night before and I knew as Mom's usually know Ryder had an ear infection.. so I took him to the doctor today and sure enough he had an ear infection.. the doctor also had to treat him for pink eye.. his poor little eye was all red and swollen.. he said it was most likely because his ear was draining into his eye but that he was going to go ahead and treat him as though it was pink eye.... So Ryder stayed in his PJ's all day and we were cooped up in the house.. My mom came by and thought it would be good to go to chic-fil-a to get us out of the house for a while and eat dinner... when we walked in we were greeted by the Chic-Fil-A cow!! Ryder about had a heartattack! I know I'm such a mean mommy but I couldn't help but do a photo-op! Here is Ryder and the cow!

The poor thing was so scared the whole dinner about wandering where the cow was that he bearly ate!

16 Months Old!

Ryder you are getting SOO big and learning SO many things it just warms your mommy's heart! You are having such a personality these days and it is SO much fun just to play with you and watch your reaction to things. Now that I am a SAHM I can not WAIT to watch you all the time and love on you non stop.. Here are some things you've been up to these days:

-You weigh 23 pounds

-You are still in a size 3 diaper

-You are learning to eat with a fork and spoon and are doing a pretty good job.. were working on teaching you to STAB your food, because you get VERY frustrated when its not on there and you go to take a bite!

-You are starting to learn your colors.. were on Yellow right now and you say it it like "Yewoa" its too cute, but you are starting to think EVERYTHING is Yewoa.. probably because the first time you said it I clapped and kissed you and hugged you.. so you said it about everything after that! HA!..maybe mommy shouldn't get soo excited

-You say a TON of words.. your aunt amanda got you to say pumpkin pie tonight clear as day! You say Hey to people passing by and before we leave the house you always say" bye gwacie" its SO precious, we just got you to say Charlie too and its super cute.. although most of the time you just call her gwacie too...some other words you say are car, truck, bite, more, potty,tree, wow, lights and many many more.. I have to say a month ago I was afraid you couldn't say that many things but BOY how your vocabulary changes so fast!

-You LOVE LOVE LOVE to flirt! It's ridiculous, anytime a girl looks your way you bat those gorgious blue eyes and give her a cheesy grin.. you are SUCH a boy! Mommy has ALOT to worry about!

-You are climbing on EVERYTHING, the couch, the ladder, the attic stairs, your crib, the coffee table, the dining room table EVERYTHING

-You are wearing mostly 12 month clothes but starting to fit into a few 18 month outfits

-You are SUCH a bundle of joy and I am enjoying every minute with you!

Pizza and Fun!

I have to say this stay at home mom business is the greatest job in the world and I feel SOO blessed to be able to stay home with Ryder. He is just the sweetest little boy and although we have our moments this is just the greatest "job" ever. I just can't imagine loving a job more than this. I do miss my co-workers and all of the customers but it doesn't come close to not being home with him. .... On another note.. today Ryder and I went to have lunch with my mom, Tanner, and his friend Cullen... Cullen is the sweetest boy, he opens doors for us, he even went to my moms car and opened her car door for her! I asked my mom if him and tanner could switch! HA! :).. anyways we went to CiCi's pizza for lunch then went to Frankies Fun park to let the boys play... although my mom and I had just as much fun I think.. and Ryder.. well I think you'll be able to tell by the pictures!

He wasn't too sure about this monkey sitting beside him.. but he rode this ride 3 times!

Christmas AGAIN!

Every year we do Christmas with Amanda and Paul by ourselves. We had it planned for a couple weeks and it just so happened it fell on the weekend of all of the rest of our Christmas' .. I'm pretty sure Ryder didn't mind! They aren't just family to us there more like our best friends so its fun to spend time with them and exchange gifts. Ryder and Addison always have so much fun together, there more like brother and sister...  Tonight Addison was in the kitchen playing with her barbie that her FAVORITE who else?!? got her and Ryder walked into the kitchen and she was "Wydaaaaaa get outa heeeeooooorrrr" It was soo cute they love each other I think..
